Sean Monty Montgomery

Sean Monty Montgomery is an interdisciplinary artist from Philadelphia recently completed his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Arts.  He creates work inspired by his childhood in the 90s and the toys that influenced him during his development.  Childhood toys are both elements of inspiration as well as the medium of Montgomery’s work.  Montgomery exhibited in the Work In Progress (WIP) shows at the Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery in Philadelphia, Pa, in 2016 through 2018.  His upcoming thesis exhibition will be in December 2018 in Philadelphia. Montgomery is an art teacher for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, who passes on his love for the arts to his students, who in turn strive for their own artistic achievements.
